Why We Started LBS

A Strong Business Needs a Reliable Financial Foundation

We started Logical Bookkeeping Solutions because we understand the challenge of managing day-to-day operations while also keeping the financial side of a business current and organized. Even a strong business can be held back when its books are unreliable or the owner is unsure what the numbers are saying.

In conversations with business owners, we repeatedly heard the same concerns: Are the books accurate? Can the reports be trusted? Will everything be ready when the CPA needs it?

Those questions become especially stressful at year-end, when incomplete records, unreconciled accounts, and inconsistent processes can create delays just as tax deadlines approach.

LBS was built to replace that uncertainty with a dependable process and a genuine working relationship. We want our clients to know their books are being handled carefully—and to feel comfortable picking up the phone whenever they need an answer.

Chris Manning

Co-Owner | Accounting, Finance & Systems

Chris holds a degree in accounting and has worked at every level of accounting and finance, from foundational accounting operations through finance and accounting management. His experience spans both the public and private sectors.

Throughout his career, Chris has often served as the link between accounting and information technology teams and has led financial-system implementations. That experience helps him evaluate not only how transactions are recorded, but whether the processes and technology supporting the books work together logically.

Chris is QuickBooks Online Gold Certified. LBS also takes a technology-flexible approach, working with the systems that best support each client’s operations rather than forcing every business into the same setup.

Claude Manning

Co-Owner | Financial Leadership & Oversight

Claude holds a degree in accounting and brings CFO-level financial experience from the chemical and healthcare industries. His background provides an executive perspective grounded in financial oversight, operational accountability, and the need for dependable information throughout an organization.

Claude’s financial leadership experience complements Chris’s background in accounting processes, systems, and implementation. Together, they bring both detailed operational knowledge and a broader financial perspective to the way LBS maintains and reviews client books.
